Joe Colombo (1930-1971)

Born in 1930 in Milan, Joe Colombo is an Italian designer who has revealed himself for his innovative and futuristic approach to multifunctional furniture. Colombo did not just modernize the objects of the time, he was stubborn in the creation. He experimented with new production techniques and new materials. In the family factory he developed alongside his brother Gianni what he will call the "living cell", design at the service of space optimization. Joe Colombo also collaborated with prestigious houses like Kartell or Longhi.
