Pierre Guariche (1926-1995)

Pierre Guariche (Paris, 1926- Bandol, 1995) is a French decorator and assembler, member of the UAM. Graduate of ENSAD (Decorative Arts of Paris) (course of René Gabriel, he enters an internship at Marcel Gascoin.He develops, from 1953 to 1957, his Atelier des Recherches Plastiques, in the company of Michel Mortier and Joseph-André Motte. From 1957, he became head of the furniture department of the Belgian company Meurop and produced his own research, before the Galerie Mai produced and edited his first furniture, followed by the editors: Airborne, Disderot, Meubles TV, Huchers-Minvielle, Luminalite and especially Steiner, became an architect, for example for his villa in the rue de Dombasle in Paris, or ski resorts: La Plagne, Courchevel and Val d'Isère. receives the René Gabriel Prize.
