Olivier Gagnère (Born in 1952)


At the dawn of his career, at the beginning of the 1980s, Olivier Gagnère met designer Ettore Sottsass and collaborated with the Memphis group in Italy. Then, he worked with the glassmakers of Murano and the Master Craftsmen of several countries (France, China, Japan…) for the realization of his first creations including glass objects and Arita porcelain on the island of Kyûshû in Japan. At the same time, the young artist also collaborates with several major French brands as well as with galleries such as Néotu, Kréo or Maeght where his works are exhibited.
