Born in Tuscany in 1922, Gabriella Crespi studied architecture at the Polytechnic School of Milan where she discovered the work of Le Corbusier and Frank Lloyd Wright.
At the beginning, his creation is focused on design with furniture, jewelery and decorative objects. Gabriella Crespi accepts a large number of special orders and interests many personalities such as Princess Grace, the Shah of Iran or Thomas Hoving. She designed elements in bamboo or plexiglass but her metal creations are the most emblematic. Three principles are essential in its production: aesthetics, functionality and multifunctionality.
