Born in 1934, Jacques Duval-Brasseur is a French artist who studied at the Beaux-Arts in Cherbourg. Constrained to try different jobs, it is in the sculpture and the creation of objects that he finally blooms and perfects his technique. He started with very little financial resources and worked with all the materials that the scrap metal dealers entrust him with to master the iron before working precious metals. His work will be noticed and highly appreciated by collectors, especially after a sculpture exhibition in 1969 at the Maison et Jardin Gallery in Paris.
