Born in 1928 in Naples, Willy Rizzo is a great photographer and designer. He lived in Paris at a very young age and is passionate about photography, a practice he has perfected over the years. He works for movie stars, magazines but also important events like the Nuremberg trial. It is in 1968, that it exerts a turning point in his career since moving to Rome and decides to create a line of furniture. Finally, he returned to photographic practice in the 1970s when he returned to France. Its production is marked by the creation in the 1970s of the iconic rectangular coffee table in lacquered wood and metal. The Rizzo style marked an era. His creations have well-marked geometric shapes with simple lines. The materials are carefully chosen and respect the traditional use. Comfort, solidity and practicality define his works.
