Who is

Robert et Jean Cloutier (1930-2008/2015)

The two twin brothers were born in 1930 and become apprentices for the Lafourcade ceramics, George Jouve or Pol Chambost. In 1955 they opened a first workshop in Paris. In the 1960s, they settle permanently in Languedoc where they continue research on the work of ceramics. This production is marked by the creation of objects before all decorative and utilitarian that affirm a very poetic personal universe. Their achievements are a great success. They are particularly known for many wall decorations, ceramic screens, objects and sculptures with rounded shapes.
